Comments: It is not quite clear whether the Oghuz name for 'reed' (Tur. saz, Turkm., Gag. sāz, see Лексика 135, ЭСТЯ 7) and 'swamp' as 'reed growth' (Tur. sazlɨk, Turkm. sāzlɨq) belongs here, too, or else reflect a different root.
